Refund & Cancellation Policy

Memberships (Scout and Outfitter)

Paid memberships have not launched yet; checkout currently runs in Stripe test mode and no real charges are made. This policy applies once they launch.

Automatic renewal: memberships renew every 12 months at $39 (Scout) or $79 (Outfitter), plus tax, charged to your card on file until you cancel. Once paid memberships launch, we'll email you a reminder 15 to 45 days before each renewal, and notice of any price change at least 7 and no more than 30 days before it takes effect.

• Cancel anytime, online. Cancel in a few clicks from your account page, or by emailing [email protected]. Your membership stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and won't renew.
• 14-day refund. If you haven't used your membership benefits, you can get a full refund within 14 days of your first charge or any renewal charge.
• After 14 days, or once benefits have been used, charges aren't refunded, but you keep access until the period ends.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe and usually appear in 5–10 business days.

$1 auto-buy fee (auto-buy is coming soon; not live yet)

• We refund the $1 fee if an order fails or is cancelled before it ships.
• Once an order ships, the fee is not refundable, even if you return the item to the retailer.

Returns and exchanges on gear

Gear is sold and shipped by the retailer, so returns and exchanges follow that retailer's policy, including their time limits and condition rules. We'll help: we can point you to the right process, share order details and help you request an exchange for a different size. We can't issue refunds for products ourselves.
